Is it okay to send PNR to 139 and show the message to the TTE if the original ticket is lost?

If any person has the PNR number of counter ticket and he send PNR number of 139. While he is not carring original counter ticket. Is this legal act or he have to pay for the same.

Yes, you can use the message received as your ticket with a valid ID-proof.
If you have lost your tickets then you can send a SMS: Your PNR to 139. Eg: PNR 6411693672 to 139. You will receive details of your ticket via sms.

If you have taken counter ticket, you will need to carry the original counter ticket otherwise you will be treated as travelling without ticket.

No, you can’t travel on MSG for PRS Ticket. One has to present original PRS Ticket for Journey otherwise TTE Can mark you as Without Ticket & can collect fine for the same.
