Procedure to book a NOSB ticket as a standalone
NOSB means “NO Seat Berth” for a child of age 5-12 years. In NOSB, you need to pay the half fare for the child passenger in which no seat is allotted to them. NOSB indicates that the child can board the train with its parent/guardian but isn’t eligible to occupy a berth. For Eg: You booked Ticket for a child between 5 to 12 Yrs and it shows NOSB instead of CNF. It simply means, “NO Seat Berth”.
